The same world, another scale
This project is inspired by my laboratory activities. I play with optics and materials.
I built a microscope and wanted to try it.
You can see the wetting and evaporation of several drops that I deposited on a glass slide. Each is composed of one or more solvents, mixed or not with different products.
Scales of capillary forces and interference of light are combined in this work. It's our world on another observation magnitude.

The gif represents the overlapping of waves. The heavy wave is the addition of the two others. The colors are created by this optical phenomenon on the microscope : the light interference.
